Cameron Poustie Cameron Poustie has tertiary qualifications in both commerce and law, and currently works at the Environmental Defender's Office, where he is the Principal Solicitor.

He has had a long association with the EDO, having started as a volunteer in 1996 and served on the Management Committee from 2002 to early 2006. He has also held a number of paid positions with the EDO between the years of 1998 and 2002. In April 2006 he came back to the EDO to take up the Principal Solicitor position.

He has previously worked with the Conservation Council of WA (the peak environmental group in WA) as the Biodiversity Conservation Officer, lobbying for better protection of WA's unique natural heritage.

He has also been heavily involved with campaign organisation for the Greens,  being the WA campaign manager for the Federal elections in 2001 and 2004, and the North Metro campaign manager in 2001, 2005 and for this election.
