Nedlands - Lee Hemsley
![]() |
Lee HemsleyLee has lived with his family in the electorate of Nedlands for 20 years. He is passionate about improving the safety and beauty of streets in the electorate, for people of all ages. |
Whilst managing a successful business, he has been involved in local community groups supporting retention of established community facilities, preservation of bushland and river foreshores, safe streets for pedestrians and cyclists, and local government integrity and openness.Working locally, Lee listens to the concerns of other residents of the Western Suburbs.
Lee has been an active member of Foreshores and Waterways Protection Council (Inc.), Uniting Subiaco, the City of Subiaco Local Agenda 21 committee, “Save Station Street Markets” and “Save Lords Sports Centre” campaigns, and has contributed to the campaign against over-development of the QE II Hospital site.
Lee believes that the old parties are preoccupied with internal power struggles and dominated by powerful lobby groups. He is committed to representing the residents of the electorate of Nedlands should he be elected.
